Ayat Al kursi -Metallic Textured Contemporary Calligraphy on Hand Embellished Abstract Backdrop. The throne verse is the 2nd chapter of the Quran ,Al Baqara. The verse speaks about how nothing and nobody is regarded to be comparable to God.
This is one of the well known verses of Quran and is widely memorized and displayed in the Muslim world. Here the artist wanted to create a modern abstract backdrop to blend with beautiful contemporary Arabic calligraphy.

Artwork was given a 3D texture with mixed media techniques using gold leaf, metallic powders and modeling paste, which results to a rich hand embellished beauty that becomes an eye catching focal point in the space being constant but silent reminder of God.
