ENLIGHTENING

A verse from Surah Noor,
“ Allahu nooru samawati wal ard’ which translates to “Allah is the light of the heavens and earth”.
Here the artist wanted to create a modern abstract backdrop to blend with beautiful contemporary Arabic calligraphy.

Artwork was given a 3D texture with mixed media techniques using gold leaf, metallic powders and modeling paste, which results to a rich hand embellished beauty that becomes an eye catching focal point in the space being constant but silent reminder of God.
